Choosing Happiness and Joy: Honoring the Fallen on Memorial Day

Hello my loves. As a veteran and a family member to many veterans and active duty members, Memorial Day holds a special place in my heart. It is a time to remember and honor all of the Fallen, no matter where they fell. Whether it be abroad or here at home, their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day weekend, I will be taking the time to reflect and honor them by living my life to the fullest. I choose happiness, joy, and freedom. I choose to express myself and be true to who I am. And I encourage you to do the same.

One way I find solace and peace is by immersing myself in nature. There is something so calming and rejuvenating about being surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors. I make it a point to spend time outside, whether it's going for a hike, gardening, or simply sitting in the park.

But it's not just about being in nature. It's also about embracing my inner child and letting myself have fun. Laughter is such a powerful tool for healing and finding joy in life. So, let me share a few jokes with you:

  • Why doesn't Marvel use the Hulk to advertise more. Because he's basically one big banner.
  • Which days are the strongest. Saturday and Sunday. The rest are weekdays.
  • I just found out I'm colorblind. That came out of the purple.
  • Did you know your pupils are the last part to stop working when you die. They dilate.
  • How do cows stay up to date. They read the newspaper.
  • Did you know that the first french fries weren't cooked in France. They were cooked in Greece.

I hope these jokes brought a smile to your face or at least made you roll your eyes a little. Laughter is medicine for the soul, and I believe in the power of dad jokes to brighten our day.

Remember, you are accepted, you are valid, and you are loved. Sending you so much joy, playfulness, enthusiasm, and love. Have a wonderful day.
