Mindful Reflections: Gratitude for an Amazing 2016

First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the fans of the channel. Your participation and support make these articles worthwhile and keep the community going. Your commitment to yourself and your meditation practice is making a positive impact on the world.

I'm also grateful for the growth of Kernel of Wisdom in 2016. We doubled our subscribers, which means more engagement, more questions, and more comments. This community is thriving because of all of you. We also hit over a hundred thousand views, which shows that people are actively meditating and engaging with the content. This is truly exciting as it means more people are embracing mindfulness in their daily lives.

Collaborations and Support

I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who collaborated with me in 2016. From Dutch Smiling Yogi to Sue's Bub and Simply Vegan, your contributions have enriched the channel. Special thanks to Froude 5 for the amazing music and to Mind-Body Vortex and Ned Kelly for interviewing me on their podcasts. I'm also grateful for the support of my family, especially my husband, best friend, and parents, who have been my biggest fans and have helped the channel in countless ways.

Mindful Reflections on 2016

Personally, 2016 has been a year of growth for me through mindfulness meditation, self-help therapeutic work, and more. I've deepened my understanding of radical acceptance and the power of being present. I've also learned to love and appreciate myself more, setting better boundaries and practicing mindful eating, resulting in a healthier lifestyle.

One of the most significant lessons I've learned is that I am worth it and enough. I've embraced all aspects of myself, including the fears, the vulnerabilities, and the emotions. By facing these challenges head-on, I've discovered that I am capable of handling them and that it's okay to feel my feelings. This journey of self-discovery has been humbling, and I'm grateful to each and every one of you for being a part of it.


As we enter 2017, I want to express my gratitude once again. May the new year bring you happiness, health, and peace. Let's make 2017 a year of mindfulness and personal growth. Take care.
